Tartan. It's pretty scary, isn't it? Take these Dorothy Perkins flats, for example. Technically, they've got everything right. Pointy toe - check. Teeny weeny heel - check. Nice shape - check. Tartan - umm, pass. If you like tartan, and you'd like to give it a shot, these are a good way to wear it, as this is one trend where less is most definitely more. If you don't, well, I suspect not even Mr. Louboutin himself could make it seem OK.
Fortunately for me, I live in Scotland, which is probably the only country to be exempt from the current tartan craze (Wear tartan here and tourists just ask you to pose for pictures), but as for the rest of you, no such luck. These are only £18, though, so even although they're doomed to be a one-season wonder, they're still a bit of a bargain.

i can see this paired with a flowy blouse, a dark blue large leather black and perhaps some black nicley tailored shorts. although it would be a hard look to pull off.
i mean belt..not black.
I made a prommise to myself long time ago I will never wear boring shoes. These will surely finda a place in my wardrobe.
I actually quite like these.
These are absolutely brilliant! Unfortunately, I've been banned from spending any more money on shoes. Which is ironic, as the money I've earned has come from a job as a distillery tour guide - where tartan is compulsory.
I kind of love these! Perfect with skinny jeans.
I have been looking for something like this, but I can't find them on the link to the website. Can you help me?
Thanks,
Sue
