Irregular Choice Shoe Boots

32211dmain  Chloabelle over at the Shiny Fashion Forums prompted me to take a look at the Irregular Choice website, which I haven't visited for a long time as it's normally too scary for the likes of me. We've long since established that Irregular Choice is one of those "love it or hate it" brands, but I found myself strangely drawn to these brown shoe boots, which seem like a prettier take on the must-have boot (shoe?) of the moment.

One question, though? How on earth are you supposed to avoid tripping over the streamer thing?

I must be one of those "hate it" people, because these are some of the ugliest(shoes are they?)things I have ever seen.

Hey, I got mentioned! I'm not a fan of those.
By the way, I can't get on to the forum. It won't show up.

these are the most gorgeous shoe boots i have seen - if i had the money i would buy them. but then again, i am a devoted irregular choice fan, and love (most) of their shoes. they aren't for a shy girl though...

Rose is funny, That was good.
One word for these shoes- BARF!!!!
And one comment, They remind me of a pig for some reason, a pig with a flower.

Happy is right....one of those Vietnamese pot beely pigs in the flower bed. Yuck

Good Lord. That shoe is something between some flowers that died on the sun and a car-struck heel.
Definitely not only for shy girls, but also completely out of elegance. Yuck!

I have been planning to buy these for a long time, they are simply gorgeous, if not to wear, then just to have on display (and yes, there are some shoes I bought for that reason). Stunning, stunning I love IC so much.

i have a pair of irregular choice shoes - not worth the price tag at all. i bought a flat pair with yellow flowers and i didnt make it to the end of my road b4 i had two feet covered in lots of massive blisters. a friend also had the same thing with a diff pair. iv nva bn able 2 wear them since!

First impressions? Actually not that bad.

Then I realized that they'd dyed the heel the wrong colour. Then stuck it on backwards.

Irregular Choice at it's quirkiness! It's odd, I don't think I would wear it, but a brilliant design nonetheless.

I am a die hard irregular choice fan, and the quirkier the better. but lately i have been disappointed with the styles. they seem to be trying to go to extremes as far as shoe designing goes. but the catwalk shows have been doing that for years, and forcing models to walk in them. the lanvin shoe boots or westwood anything springs to mind. these are nice, but the 'veil' MUST be detachable!!

Hey. Where did my comment go? I didn't use any bad words.

Posted by: rose | September 13, 2006 10:50 PM

No but telling my writer she needs electric shock therapy was a bit much, so I got rid before all war broke out.

I think they're cute. That's a version of the pixie boot I'd be willing to try.

Posted by: Jael | September 14, 2006 12:32 PM

You're right. That wasn't nice of me. I want you to know I didn't mean it literally.

I think the streamers go up and around the ankle some of the ballerina shoes. If so that would look incredible.. except for the heel.. I like fun quirky new and different things, but I don't like things that are too out of the ordinary.
