Lace-up Knee Highs in Oz!

LaceupsI got (and promptly lost) a request the other day from a shoe fan in Oz looking for a pair of lace-up black knee-high boots with a low heel or flat sole. Whoever you are, I went on a search and it was far more difficult than I thought. The look I was after was more like the boot on the left (£40 from Dorothy Perkins and sadly only available in the UK) but the closest I could find came from animal-friendly Aussie store Vegan Wares (middle, $270 AU). They have the lacing and the heel, but I fear they might be a bit manly for the discerning fashionista. If you like them, let me know, but I'll keep on searching when I get a chance!

La Redoute have some advertised in the leaflet that fall out of every magazine I buy recently. Don't know if they ship to Oz though...

Schuh have flat black knee-high baseball boots. I bought them and swapped the white laces for black to tone them down a bit.

J Jill has some lace-ups. One style laces up the front but is short, the other taller boot laces up the back.

Nine West in Australia did a boot exactly like that!! I don't know if they are still in stores where you live, but the Brisbane one still has them in stock (last time i checked), they were around $250? Good luck!

I was the one who originally emailed the request and I think you! The boots I wanted were worn by Radha Mitchell in the movie Silent Hill. They are just gorgeousness!
