Miu Miu Baroque Platform Wedges

Net-a-Porter's editor suggests that this shoe is a "real look of the season", and I guess it has all of the right ingredients: the wedge heel, the platform, the patent leather... Despite it's fabulously attention-getting heel, though, I'm still having a bit of trouble imagining actually wearing it.  It's one of those shoes I'd probably want to display on my mantelpiece, but would reject in favour of something a little more practical when it was time to actually get dressed.
