Miu Miu's Jewel Encrusted Velvet Sandals

A long time ago I remember sticking hundreds of faceted jewels on a chair in an effort to bling it up (not for my own use, it was for a shoot). The heels of these velvet  sandals remind me of that chair...yet surprisingly I still love them. This is mainly because anyone with a prit stick, access to a craft store and a few hours to spare could do this to any old pair of shoes for much less than the $585 being charged by Saks for the Miu Miu numbers. I do love a DIY project...
