Pankle Nanette Lepore's lizard embossed leather ankle strap sandals manage to sit comfortably somewhere between feminine and chunky; providing support without losing girlie appeal. They also have such a tiny peep toe that you could get away with wearing them with tights - good news in a season where opaques are as important an accessory as a handbag.
