Additions Direct Chloe Style Buckle Riding Boots

Chloestyle It's officially cold in the UK now. Today the heavens opened and I ended up getting my lunch in the middle of a freezing cold, soaks-you-to-the-bone, makes-your-hair-go-frizzy downpour. My fellow Shiny ladies were in Summer shoes - flimsy little things that got drenched in seconds. I had the rare forethought to put on my boots this morning, and I have a feeling they won't leave my feet until at least February. Unless I buy new boots, that is. Perhaps these Chloe-esque riding boots for a bargain £35 at Additions. They may not be leather but in the crappy weather we're now 'enjoying', cheap boots do the job and can be chucked at the end of the season. I'll race you to them...

a silly question from the US for you: how do UK shoe sizes compare to US? On the Additions website, these are only available up to a sz 8, but I doubt that all Brits have teeny-tiny feet. Is an 8 more like a US 11? Or is there a race of miniature-footed creatures I don't know of?
