Cole Haan Becka Tall Boot

I love suede, and I love a lacing detail, so I love these Cole Haan tall boots. The brown pair is chocolatey and scrumptious. I like how the lacing detail avoids the dominatrix look and stays classy and fashionable. I generally think criss crossed lacing like this looks chicer than laces that go straight across. The leather details add a little something extra, especially at the vamp. I think those crossed leather strips would have a leg-lengthening effect. Or maybe I just like to hope so. At$375, I'm not going to find out either way. Oh well.
