Marc Jacobs Petal Heel Riding Boots

Jacobs Ah-ha! Now we now where Topshop got their inspiration from with those platform riding boots we featured last week. Step forward Mr. Marc Jacobs - if you can walk on your strangely shaped heels, that is! It's not just the heels that are a bit different on these black and brown boots: the toes aren't quite what we're used to seeing on our winter boots either - in fact, the word "pixie" springs to mind when I look at these. Clearly Topshop liked them enough to bring out their own version, though (unless, of course, Marc has been plundering the Topshop website for inspiration. Well, stranger things have happened.) If you like them too, you'll need £535 and, presumably, the ability to walk with your toes turned up.

If you'll remember, a lot of Irregular Choice shoes have upturned toes. On the wearer they usually flatten out a good bit. I quite adore the black patent and brow together. Don't know about that heel though....
