Miu Miu Blue Velvet Flats

Navy blue can be a problematic colour for footwear. Once you get past the "granny shoes" associations it can sometimes bring, you then have the question of what colour of tights to wear with them. Navy blue - too matronly. Black - clashes with the blue. White - too "Alic in Wonderland". Leave it to Miu Miu, though, to brighten up boring old navy blue by adding some shiny big jewels to the front of these otherwise unremarkable flats. The uppers are velvet, so no going out in the rain in these, but I guess when you have Swarovski crystals on your toes, you probably won't be planning any long walking trips anyway.
