Kirkwood If I was forced to pick one designer to replace Christian Louboutin in my affections, I'd probably pick British designer Nicholas Kirkwood. I mean, OK, the heel on these is so high they're very much a "car to bar" shoe, but even so, I'm almost drooling on my keyboard as I look at them. Kirkwood shoes aren't easy to find: you'll find them in Selfridges in London, and Bergdorf Goodman in New York, but even if you don't want to buy them, they're beautiful just to look at.
