Sergio Rossi Quartz Suede Platforms

Sergio_2 Part of the "Step Ahead" promotion at Net-a-Porter, these Sergio Rossi suede pumps look even better in close up than they did on the model (in hideous brown ankle-length leggings - please don't do that to this beautiful shoe.) On the product page the site is much more sensible, suggesting a dress and tights. Whew. Though at $850 they'd better go with more than one dress! I think the gold detailing on the platform, heel, and strap is just the right amount. It seems that there's a black with silver as well (on the model, but I can't find it for sale on the site) which looks even more chic, so keep your eyes open for that one.
