Stella McCartney Ribbed Cavas Platforms

Stella_12 For the most part, Stella McCartney can do very little wrong in my eyes. For some reason, though, I can't quite decide whether I love these shoes or hate them. The shape is very Bruges-like, which I guess isn't surprising, given that this particular style has been copied by so many designers this year, but although I love black and white shoes, I'm just not sure whether the white soles really work here. They're £275 from Net-a-Porter, for those of you who are bit more decisive.

Alas, it is a style replicated one too many times. I still prefer the ones Charles David put out two years ago.

Nice black/white game. Still, the white heel and sole are not clicking. In Milan's smog, they would soon become grey, no matter how hard I would clean them.

I'd really need to see these against a different background to really decide. As is, I don't like them. This could be because the white on white background looks so washed out.

I'm fairly certain I still wouldn't like them, though.
