Stella McCartney

Looking back over the ankle boots that walked the runway from the Autumn Winter shows there's plenty of boots that won't flatter no matter how thin or beautiful you are. The ankle boots from DKNY's show for example are ruffled, at the ankle - and if that isn't a short step to cankles, I don't know what is. So props go to Stella McCartney, who upon realising that ankle boots were possibly the most unflattering shoe known to man, promptly cut out the front section thus instantly elongating our pins and preventing legs-cut-in-half syndrome. She deserves a medal for services to womankind, that girl.
