They look just like a pair of Barbie ski boots I have somewhere from like the 80s/early 90s... (I mean Barbie sized, for the doll as I was a child then.)

Oh, god. The only excuse to wear these hideous injection molded travesties would be for some sort of 70's style space costume with some very puffy looking spacesuit.

Yes I saw these in a usually sensible shop the other day and couldn't work out what they were - thanks for solving the puzzle and could they be any more unflattering or hideous or dreadful - I would love to hear 'ask a gay guy' on utube let loose on these!
