Beverly Feldman 'Fanatical' Mules

Mid-heeled shoes: they occupy that strange no-man's land that lies between cute flats and sexy heels, and, I have to admit it's a land I rarely ever visit. When I saw these Beverly Feldman mules at Zappos, though, I figured they were worth a bit of a diversion. At first I thought they were some kind of "themed" Christmas shoes, with a piece of holly stuck to the front, but closer inspection reveals that it is, in fact, a regular old flower. They still have a rather festive look to them all the same, which I'm still not quite sure about- they're $142,95, should you want to add them to your Christmas list...
