Jildor Pink Metallic Shoes

10_1 There's something so eminently childlike about  these pink slides from Jildor that convinces me that a lot of you will hate them, but I actually love the innocence of them that will appeal to the young or the young at heart. They're not classy, they're not beautiful, they're slightly tacky, but they're definitely a bit of fun that might lighten up a dull winter wardrobe and show people you don't take your shoes too seriously. They're priced at $90, which is perhaps a bit much, but at the end of the day, these are just fun.

These are actually by marc Jacobs, jildor is just a vendor not a manufacturer. i think i tried them on about 4 years ago! They are pretty old!

You know, I saw that they were meant to be by Marc Jacobs on the main page, but when I clicked onto their own page the Marc Jacobs bit had disappeared and it just said they were Jildor. And when I looked at them, I couldn't really see them being MJ so I took the 50-50 chance on them not being. My mistake, and Jildor's, who need to make things clearer.

As for the age... if we just featured new shoes, it'd be boring here!

This is more of a query than a comment: I have these original Marc Jacobs star shoes (Lame Kid Duna), but one of the stars has fallen off! They're fun party shoes, and I've been searching for a replacement star on ebay forever, without much success. Any ideas from the shoe mavens out there??
