Yay or Nay Wednesday

YnflatsTime for another shoe vote, and another pair of dressy flats, this time topped off with an interesting ribbon and chain detail. Do you love the mix of chav bling and girlie satin, or is it mixing too many clashing looks? Yay or Nay and why?

(ps. Last week's shoes were Loeffler Randall from Pink Mascara)

this shoe is too busy, no direction... nay from me.

Posted by: lulu | November 15, 2006 9:20 PM

Yay. But they're not terribly interesting..

Posted by: Erin | November 15, 2006 9:41 PM

Nay. Childish shoes again.

Posted by: Mindy | November 15, 2006 9:47 PM

Love it! Where can I find these?

Posted by: kph | November 15, 2006 10:25 PM

I love them! The teal color is so pretty, and the small chain makes them just a little bit trendy and cool. Perfect.

Yay! They remind me of Marc by Marc shoes, really cute and great with jeans!

Posted by: Jas | November 15, 2006 11:46 PM

Yay! They're adorable!

Nay. Love the color, love the satin, but too flat.

I've seen shoes in this color at the Nine West store in SF, by the way.

Yay! Just the right amount of detail, and the colour is lovely.

Posted by: Lulu | November 16, 2006 12:36 AM

Nay. Not trendy enough for me. :P If it were it would be in patent.

Posted by: A | November 16, 2006 2:35 AM

Yay! I just plain like them. They'd dirty quickly though.

YAY! i love the bright color, fall and winter wardrobes sometimes need to be brightened up! the detail is perfect without being too much also.

Posted by: sarah | November 16, 2006 4:16 AM

yay - the color is nice and i think the chain makes it a little different.

Posted by: thuy | November 16, 2006 5:34 AM

Like them...cute

Posted by: Katy | November 16, 2006 8:17 AM

I would have to say nay. They aren't horrible, but they aren't terribly cute either. The embellishments aren't enough to make them interesting. They kind of look like they were just thrown on as an afterthought to plain flats although the color is different and nice.

Posted by: Naomi | November 16, 2006 10:10 AM

Nay, without the chain they'd be lovely. I've seen them in person and they're brighter than the picture, so the gold of the chain really stands out.

Nay! No substance, utterly fogerttable shoes. trying to be everything at once and failing abysmally.

Posted by: arelya | November 16, 2006 11:54 AM

Nay - like the colour but too much going on to make them stand out

Posted by: Deb | November 16, 2006 1:39 PM

YAY for me. I don't love them, but they're cute enough. They'd look great with Jeans, I couldn't really wear them with anything else.

Posted by: Daphne | November 16, 2006 2:56 PM

Yay, not enthusiastically though. I usually don't like flats all that much, but these are kinda cute and I love the color.

Posted by: Cherry | November 16, 2006 3:10 PM

yay. not nearly as over-the-top as some others in fashion right now.
I would wear them.

Posted by: kim | November 16, 2006 4:25 PM

I love those!! Who makes them??

Posted by: allison | November 16, 2006 5:21 PM

Yay - love 'em! Great color, and the chain is a nice twist. It looks like there could be some major toe cleavage involved, though.

Posted by: Julia | November 16, 2006 7:31 PM

Yay. I think they are adorable. i love flats.

Posted by: Sarah | November 16, 2006 9:09 PM
