Anthropologie's thigh-high 'Sequoia' boots

Now, I know that it's not time for ugly shoe of the week, but when I saw these monstrosities, I couldn't not write about them! Thigh-high and made from a repulsive concoction of oatmeal wool, beige suede and tan leather, these boots are the stuff of nightmares. Part riding boot, part shin-guard in style; and with a few hits of the ugly stick to boot (ahem) - I can't help but wonder if Anthropologie have gone quite off their rocker with this one! When you also consider that 'Sequoia' is priced at $598 (!!!), I suggest that you save your hard-earned dosh and spend it on something, in fact, anything else!
