Steve Madden's 'Maxxine' t-bars

MAXXINE%2520BLACK%2520MULTI.jpg First of all, no, that's not a typo in the title - Steve Madden really has chosen to spell "Maxxine" with a double X. His website claims these are "perfect to pair with tights for the chilly months ahead", and I think I'd have to agree with him on that one. Herringbone tweed is a very wintry fabric, and while these are open-toed sandals, the chunky shape and addition of a pair of opaque tights makes them just right for the coldest season. They're £129.95.

Anyone who knows me will tell you this is Katy's type of shoe. Love them, & the Jimmy Choo pair on the next piece.

I really like these shoes but why are they so high? I would not spend that much money on a pair of shoes especially when they will go on sale. If steve madden sale these same shoes I would expect a different website to lower their price on them.
