Bastide by Cydney Mandel
It is of course the color that drew me to the jewel of a shoe. It is described as navy, but seems to shine violet and purple as the light hits it. The leather, croc-embossed t-strap makes them appropriate for day, while the rich velvet clearly takes them into evening territory. I can see them with jeans or a cocktail dress - my favorite brand of versatility in shoes. I particularly appreciate that the velvet extends down the wedge soles, a wooden or manmade heel would have ruined these. Exclusively online at SimplySoles.com, they run a cool $435.
