It's always handy having a mirror to hand just in case you need to touch up your make-up. However, I don't know how handy it is to have one on your shoe. As metallics and all things shiny are 'in' this Spring/Summer, Gucci have created a rather futuristic looking range of shoes, including these £395 'Mirror' sandals. The shininess definitely gets a thumbs up, and even the metal plates and studs are passable. But for something that is meant to be channelling a futuristic vibe, there seems to be a faint whiff of granny in the style of the shoe, the shape of the peep toe and the block heel. If it was just a plain black, it would look like another nondescript sandal from the wider fitting range at M&S.
