Back in October, I bravely predicted that tortoiseshell was going to take over where leopard print left off. I don't think many people believed me, but on a recent trip to the USA I was proven correct. Shoe shops were awash with styles trimmed with tortoiseshell-esque lucite. Most surprisingly, the subtlest and most wearable use came from Jessica Simpson, of all people. 'Ladonna' is $89.95 at Bakers footwear. Beware, it comes up small.
