Lanvin's ridiculously overpriced ballet flats

There's no denying the pull of a designer shoe. They do tend to be more comfortable and better made than their high street alternatives, and there's something lovely about sliding your feet into a pair of indulgent, overpriced heels. But sometimes we can all go to too far. How many people are actually willing to spend £265 on a pair of ballet pumps, even if they are Lanvin? Is there really that much difference between these and a pair of French Sole or Repetto classics? I think not...
