Louis Vuitton's leopard calf-hair chain heel pumps

lvchain.jpgChances are some of you have seen these already. If not, lucky you. I don't know what it is that's encouraging the bods at Louis Vuitton to do away with nice conventional heels in favour of all manner of other strange things, but I'm not liking it one bit. This obsession with chains has to stop! Even the knowledge that this shoe is commemorative of the late, great Stephen Sprouse (the man who put graffiti all over LV handbags five years ago) doesn't save it for me, especially at over $1,500 a pair. What about you?

Whenever I see those, I just think that that cut-out plexiglass looks awfully flimsy to walk on..

Chain heel...You have got to be kidding. Now, the first thing that came to mind was... someone wearing those and thinking they are the hot stuff because they are expensive, and designer, and what not, and the chain snapping. Oh how I would laugh.

While I think that those heels are insanely ugly, I actually love when designers do something different with the form of the heel. But I feel like there's better ways to go about it than these tacky things.

I was already tired of the same heel all the time and i think that LV has done a great job
