Given my lifelong obsession with heels, it's most unlike me to be recommending a pair of low heeled strappy sandals to you, but I actually love these. I think they'd look great worn (in the summer, natch!) with shorts and bright-red toenails: yes, they may be (almost) flat, but they're very feminine with it and actually rather glam. That they'll only cost you £15 is an added bonus.
