Nine West Varina vs. MICHAEL Michael Kors Winter Warrior

Nine West's Varina boot, on sale for $96, has a fairly similar look to the MICHAEL Michael Kors Winter Warrior Bootie, at $189. The Nine West version actually has the more stylish platform, while the MICHAEL rubber platform is designed more for traction - which, let's face it, may not be a bad thing this time of year. The MICHAEL boot also seems to have a more generously cut ankle. Since the boots are meant to be worn with pants anyway, there's no real reason for the slim, constricting ankle of the Nine West boots, so the MICHAELs might be the better choice if you can afford them. Plus, you really can't beat the soft, luxurious leather Michael Kors is known for.
