Pedro Garcia Satin Peep Toe Pump

Call it deconstructed Moulin Rouge, or call it down-on-her-luck working girl, these Pedro Garcia pumps certainly are racy. The vibrant red really takes Garcia's raw (and I mean raw) satin edges we're so in love with up a notch; a peep toe, crystal accents, well...let's just say they're much more Becky Sharp than Amelia Sedley (ooh, who would wear these in the Shoewawa-Vanity Fair film adaptation? Just an idea!). Once you get past the overt sexiness, the beauty of the construction is really striking. The length of the heel portion in particular is a very interesting look, I'd like to see it on a foot. At $400, any volunteers?

I don't see these shoes as working girl or racy, sexy maybe. I love these shoes and if I had somewhere to go other than up and down the stairs with laundry, I would buy them.
