This shoe's colour is called 'merlot' and no wonder, it's a wonderful, rich garnet, and wearing such a colour seems to make all this cold weather seem worthwhile. While I love the snub-toe detail and the ostentatious bow, I'm not entirely sure about the narrow, wood-coloured stack-effect heel. To me it seems a touch flimsy-looking for such a richly-coloured shoe, and I wonder if it would look better if it were more substantial, or at least in the same colour. What do you think?
