Yay or Nay Wednesday

yaynay64.jpgWell, I can happily say that last week's Yay or Nay was a resounding success, with two thirds of you voting that the twee little scottie dog could Stop at Go and Collect $200! Had the poor wee puppy been put in jail, it would have been a sad day indeed for Topshop's printed ballet pumps!

This week's shoes may be a little more controversial. In the dreaded bootie style (for some, at least) and with a different kind of bow detail than most - do these babies 'got back', or can they shake their tail feather all the way to fashion jail? Yay or Nay and why?

[Don't forget to vote at Trashionista, Bridalwave, Hippy Shopper, Corrie Blog, Catwalk Queen, Kiss and Makeup, The Bag Lady and Shiny Shiny too!]

oh my... nay all the way! These are awful - I like the color, I really like contrasting detail on shoe, and I love bows - but this is a miss!

I like these in principle - the colour, the heel, the shape. But I tried on something in a similar shape in Topshop the other day and they just looked hideous on. Shame as they were so cute on the shelf. So it's got to obe a Nay from me for unwearability!

The heel is a disaster

I've been looking for a pair of line-dancing clogs! Er, no. Icky, icky, nay.

Nay. Frumpy, clumpy and, er...lumpy?

Love the heel and the toe. Bow thingie works, if they were courts I would have loved them, but as for now they just look completely wrong. Nay!

Mmmnnn...nice colour, but they look medieval. They're so chunky - NAY!!!

These booties are absolutely adorable. I personally love the cut, as they will most likely flatter any shape leg unlike the mid-calf booty. The teel-like suede is attractive and complimented by the pink detailing. I would wear them without a doubt, but strongly believe that they are suited more to an adventurous character rather than to the simple foot! WHERE CAN I GET A PAIR???????

Fine if you like the thick ankle look. A big yuck from me.

I like the shape of them and theyre actually very comfy and perfect with opaques and a micro mini. as for the color... i prefer the royal blue with plain diamante detailing that mr MJ did.
I agree with Erin, you have to have be ablento back up this bootie. Not for everybody I admit, but YAY from me.

I'm torn. They've got a lovely 40s vibe to them - great colour, texture and cheeky bow, and I can just see them paired with a Christian Dior "New Look"-style swing coat and thick tights as you hustle through the blackout to a smoky bar - but as previous commenters have suggested, would they really work on the foot? and given that I'm not a 40s broad, with the rest of my wardrobe?

Despite all that, on balance, it's a YAY.

I have these except mine are Marc Jacobs.. they look a lot different than these... are these Marc Jacobs?? My heel is different and the colors are different. Mine are in a Royal Blue with Black detailing. They look A LOT better in real life.. very cute with skinny jeans believe it or not. :)
