3.1 Phillip Lim Fall 2007

3.1 Phillip Lim was one of the first collections to really solidify some continuing trends for Fall 2007 - namely tights and short skirts. And what to wear with these accoutrements? Fabulous shoes, of course! The girlish yet proper collection called for muted colors of rich fabrics like patent leathers and what looked like chiffon straps and details. As the collection as a whole is being lauded as "wearable" so too are the shoes. No five inch lucite platforms here.

I like these, but I don't really like the ones with the heel peeking out. For some reason it reminds me of a little girl playing dress up with her mom's shoes.

Yeah, that ones the most "avant-guard" of the bunch, the least wearable in my opinion.
