Christian Louboutin Peep Toe Criss-Cross Slingbacks
Will people really pay Louboutin prices, in this case $660, for shoes made almost entirely of cork? This is clearly a novelty shoe, and I'm a bit ashamed of Louboutin for resorting to such trickery. Okay, so the cork has gold flecks in it, big deal. The peep-toe, crisscross slingback does stick to the classic shape, and despite its out of the ordinary material, is also in a neutral, so it probably could go with a variety of work or more casual summer looks. But you could buy quite a few bottles of pricy vintage wine and source your own cork, and have a bit of a party, for a lot less.

*sigh* i think these are gorgeous. the type of shoe i would take on all my summer holidays, since they look like they would go with anything.
