It's the name of the game at the moment, shoe fans. If you want to flog a style, make it slightly retro and call it 'Dita'. Shellys did it, and now Lulu Guinness is doing it too. Of course she has a slightly better excuse. Lulu was doing retro fashion when Dita Von Teese was still a girl called Heather who liked to dye her hair black. And Dita wears her stuff (sunglasses at least), so perhaps she even approves of these cutesy black espadrille wedges, which will set you back £145 and see you through Spring at least a la Juliette Binoche in 'Chocolat', if not a burlesque babe.
