Hold on a minute. Has someone at Marc by Marc Jacobs been paying a bit too much attention to the kind of shoes that Baby Phat and Guess constantly inflict on the unsuspecting public? What are these all about? Platforms I can just about take, and I'm slowly being persuaded by certain members of staff here at shiny that fetish can be stylish. But all that trashy gold hardware and contrasting stitching? It looks like the kind of stuff they sell on my local market for £15 a pair. But these? They're over $400! The shame!
