Marc Jacobs Fall 2007

mjcatwalk.jpg
They've reviewed Marc Jacobs handbags from his Monday show over at The Bag Lady so I figured we'd give his shoes a look even if our relationship with the designer is a little more love/hate than that between he and his handbag acolytes. One thing is for sure, the bootie is not going away, so you'd be well served to snap some up in the end-of-winter sales. While the '80s influence has been well done on other runways, Diane Von Furstenberg among them, I'm not sure the stretchy-looking details on some of these boots are part of '80s style we'd like to see again.

I like the color on the second shoe. I really hate booties that just cut across the ankle. They make it look like your feet can be removed like doll feet. But I do like when a bootie dips down like these. I used the word "like" too much in this post. Apologies.

Haha - don't worry about word repetition. We're certainly guilty of it and we're "professionals"! I agree about the colors, that boot is my fave.
