Bertie's 'Aggressive' metallic courts

aggressive.jpg I'm not quite sure what Bertie think is so "aggressive" about these court shoes: they actually look quite girlie to me, in all their metallic pink, pointy-toed glory. Like many other shoe designers at the moment, they've decided to use perspex here, but not too much of it - just a touch around the rims and on the cut out (which kind of begs the question "why bother?" I suppose). They're £60, and they're also available in gold.

I think the perspex, or lucite, makes the shoe look choppy and weird. I wonder what they would look like on.
