Brian Atwood Skyline platform slingbacks
Shoewawa favourite Brian Atwood is another designer giving lucite a bit of a revival this season. It's a look - much like the killer platform and the chunky wedge - that takes some getting used to but eventually wins you over. I still believe it's worth spending out on this look as cheap lucite has somewhat of a reputation that's probably best avoided! Atwood's patent slingbacks are $890 at Saks. Ouch! Maybe those cheap alternatives aren't such a bad idea after all?

Oh my! I have been eyeing these for a few months now, but they are never in stock or in my size. This is the perfect way to do a lucite heel! It's so chic and classy!
