I get the feeling that Gina have tried to solve a problem that doesn't really exist with the 'Ellie' patent boot. I would imagine the thought process behind this was something like "some girls want to wear shoes but need to be wearing boots due to the weather" and therefore they produced a boot with pewter decoration to make it look like a Mary-Jane. I'm really not sure about this and can't help but think the boots would be perfectly serviceable without their adornment, but if you do like them, they'll set you back £445.
