Nautical wedges by Charles David
While we're on the nautical theme, these "not even remotely practical for sailing" wedges take the general look of the classic deck shoe, and then stick a great bit wedge heel on the bottom. They come in red, black and lavender, and their stripey pattern makes me think of seasides and ice cream and other lovely, summery things. They're £93.95 from Zappos, and have a lightly cushioned footbed, so if you do choose to go beachside rambling in them, at least you'll be comfortable!
