When are Payless shoes the must have footwear? When super stylist Patricia Field designs them. That's right, the woman who made women flip for nameplate jewellery and Manolos when working on Sex & The City is creating the 'Red Carpet Collection by Patricia Field' exclusively for Payless. Unfortuately we have to be patient as they're not available until the US holiday season '07 but, retailing at $45 and under, you won't have to have a Blahnik budget to afford them. There are no images of the collection yet, but Field wore a pair of 'one of a kind' shoes to the Oscars which will be remade as part of the range. Metallic snakeskin platforms in different hues? I'm loving them already.

Lela Rose and Abaete hyave also joined Payless. If you go to their website, there is a link on the bottom. I love Lela Rose's collections. And it's being said that the new designer collections are being made in the warehouses that are used to make shoes sold in Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth. I can't wait!, I want all of Lela Rose's shoes and the lucite Abete pointy toe pump!!!
