There are various things that can attract a person to a shoe and right up there as one of the most influential is the colour. If you've had enough of standard shades and want something a bit different, Rene Caovilla is the designer to aim yourself toward. Caovilla experiments with colours, pastels and materials whilst remaining right on the cutting edge of fashion. It was the beautiful 'rust' shade that brought these satin jeweled stilettos from Caovilla to my attention, and rightly so. Off-setting the colour are the rhinestone and amber gems, forming a stunning mix of unusual colouring with glitzy perfection which could just make them worth the $816 price tag (almost).
