Suede platform slingbacks from River Island

The tortoiseshell trend is taking over. If you look carefully at these suede peep toes from River Island, you'll see that they've even managed to sneak some of it onto the buckle. These slingbacks come in the pink colour shown here and a rather nice grey, and at least the trendy tortoiseshell is unobtrusive enough to allow you to keep right on wearing them, even when it goes out of fashion.
