Miss Sixty 'Christanne' sandals

missssicty.jpg Multicoloured shoes are everywhere at the moment, but by using metallic colours rather than neon ones on these 'Christanne' sandals, I think Miss Sixty have managed to make the trend much more subtle and wearable. Miss Sixty is a brand I tend to overlook when I'm looking for new shoes, but these are really quite special: I love the mix of colours, the narrow peep toe and the high heel, and I can even live with the dreaded ankle strap for shoes so pretty and sparkly. They're $166.

Dune vs Louboutin

corkplatform.jpg
Put your hands up if you would like a pair of shoes by Christian Louboutin? I imagine most women would, although I suspect the majority could not afford them. Well, I can't offer you a free pair (or even a reduced priced pair) but merely a similar version from Dune! £265 less. The Christian Louboutin cork platform wedges are $660 (roughly £330) and the Dune Karys shoe is £65.

Moschino giraffe-print ballerina slipper

moschino%20giraffe.jpg
Instead of hobbling around like a baby giraffe in the season's sky high wedges, why not take a different kind of inspiration from the lithe animal with these Moschino giraffe-print ballerina flats? Brown and teal is always attractive, and it's made more so in this adorable pattern. Quite appropriate with jeans or dressed up a bit more, these will serve you well into fall.

'Carloto' platform heels by Gil Carvalho for Faith

carlota.jpg

Gil Carvalho's 'Carloto' shoe is just like Marmite: you'll either love or hate hate hate it!! So what do you think!? If they weren't £150.00 I'd be tempted to buy them just so that I could see if I could even walk and what people's reactions would be, but I think whether it works depends a lot on just how high the platform is. If you're interested in a shoe that's definitely turn heads, turn yours towards your local Faith now!

Ugly Shoe of the Week

tosschie.jpgThese slingback-sandal-ankle-shoe-boot peep-toes have me rather lost for words, outside of those unintelligible, garbled sounds of horror that inevitably escape my mouth when confronted with such monstrosity. Fortunately, typing doesn't require speech... but seriously? Why would you torture a poor shoe like this?! What did it ever do to you, Chie Mihara?! Oh, yes. You know I'm talking to you! Furthermore: £180??? Shame on you.

Topshop's silk printed ballet shoe

666.jpg

Don't you just hate it when you buy a gorgeous new pair of shoes, having been reassured by the shop assistant that they'll go with everything, and then you get home and they lose some of that fabulousness because they don't go with anything?! Well clearly one or two of Topshop's shoe designers have this very same problem because they've brought out a shoe that seems to be made up of every colour possible! They're £35.00 and I'm already imagining all of the possibilities...

Marc Jacobs Python Crystal and Metal Sandals

Marc.jpgAnyone here remember Greenclaws' Greenhouse? The gems on these Marc Jacobs Python Crystal and Metal sandals remind of the seeds he would plant which I always thought were really pretty. Unfortunately they also look like the final product you'd get from the 'Riddle Tree', a bit of a let down despite all that bling plus something tells me that old Greenclaws would balk at the £760 price tag. So, do these funky heels catch your eye?
