Xband.jpgBright shoes are even more alluring during dreary rainy spells such as we're having here in the Northeastern US, and as I hear Brits have pretty much all the time (Not at the mo! - Ms Shoewawa). It is for this reason and many others that I am irresistably drawn to these Christian Louboutin slingbacks. You should be able to get a teal, plastic-looking upper on a cork wedge for a lot less than $650, but you probably would be sacrificing Louboutin's design magic that makes even the most awkward feet look lovely and ladylike. To be clear, the upper is made of patent leather, not plastic, it's just that the shine of patent leather is a lot easier to imitate than its matte mates. So when it's too cold and wet to go outside in sandals, wear these around the house and the whole day will seem brighter.
