Originally the most basic - and cheap - type of shoe around, many shops are following the lead of the catwalks and are starting to catch on to the fact that shoes are supposed to resemble jewellery for the foot. French Connection has done just this, and at a surprisingly reasonable £25 this shoe comes in tan (sold out in size 39) and my favourite, red (sold out in size 41). Worn with a cute summer dress (maxi or mini) or shorts, they'll keep your feet comfortable for hours and are guaranteed to look gorgeous against that tan.
