Hollywould's ugly-pretty 'Hawaii' wedge

'Cripes!' was the word that sprang to mind, when my eyes were first assaulted by these neon wonders. While they were obviously not the most beautiful shoe around, they weren't quite the ugliest either. Our good friend, Susie Bubble often extolls her love of the intriguing 'ugly-pretty' concept; and I wonder that these wedges fit the bill. Yes, they're going to give you cankles (instead of legs) forever, and they're ridiculously bright; but there's something just a little playful mixed in with the obvious ick-factor before us. Of course, the 'ick' could also relate to the $298.95 price tag, but I'll let you be the judge of that one!
