NA NA 'Dana' wedges

These shoes are aspirational. Are they from a high-end, iconic designer meant mainly for the pages of Vogue and socialites' dinner dances? No. Are they an exorbitant amount of money that we, in the working class, could only wish to have for a house down-payment? Not at all! They're a reasonable US$90.00. So what makes them aspirational? The lifestyle they're meant for. These Na Na wedges are obviously most comfortable at the Hamptons or on an island so exotic and exclusive no one as pedantic as a writer would have heard of it.
The fact that they're made from silk lends nicely to the luxurious look, and the color is such a beautiful, saturated, exotic blue. The shape is also surprisingly sophisticated for the price. But the cushioned foot-bed gives them away - no aspirational shoe worth its weight in La Mer has any business being comfortable.
