Aldo's 'Douentza' perspex shoe

perspex%202.JPG

Oh. My. God. Just when I was finally being converted yesterday to the relative joys of perspex, some monstrosity appears to remind me of what rubbish I'm talking. How utterly and completely vile are these?!?! I don't even think they're worth the £9.99 (in clear, white or light yellow) that they're being sold for on the Aldo website. I'm not sure what offends me most but I suspect that the jelly-like heel has something to do with it! In fact, the only thing that does make sense to me here is the fact that the bizarre shoe name is perfect for the bizarre shoe! They come in sizes 3-9 if you fancy them, but whatever your views, let me know!!
