Dolce Vita's patent 'Lamont-3' pumps with perspex heels

I now we've all pretty much agreed that perspex on shoes is just a little on the tacky side, but could these Dolce Vita pumps perhaps be the exception? The overall shape of the shoe is far removed from the "hooker style" sandals we tend to associate with perspex heels, and the heel itself is nice and chunky, which helps up the "classy" factor. In fact, I think I'd go so far as to say that the perspex actually helps make what would otherwise be a rather dull shoe a little bit more special. They're $109.95 at Nordstrom.
