Dorothy Perkins' cork wedge heel shoes

22820542_normal.jpgIf ever there was a pair of shoes that looked more expensive than they actually were, I think it would be these cork heeled wedges from Dorothy Perkins. They're only £30, and they're not even leather, but they're pretty and stylish, and will look fabulous this summer with shorts, a sundress or even a pair of jeans. The Dorothhy Perkins website describes them as "gold", but I've just spent the last couple of minutes arguing with my husband, who swears they're silver. Any ideas?

I think they have a hint of gold colour in them but they definitely aren't what most people think of as gold. I'm not sure if I like the shoe or not, but I do like the heel.

Combine the two?

Maybe "gilver"?

...Definitely "sold".

They're probably gold in real life, even if they look silver in the picture!
